From across the United Sates, our breeders; Sunrise Farms, Lauing Ranch, and Moonshine Creek Quarter Horses, have joined together to bring you an offering of top quality horses all in one central location. Years of research, selection, breeding and knowledge have come together to give the public a unique chance to purchase prospects, riders, and breeding horses. While each of our programs are different, our goal remains the same... providing you with the best horses in the business. Every single horse in the sale will be 5 panel N/N by testing or by parentage so you can bid with confidence!

Kids BID ONLY!!

We have a special lot that is always a great success, KIDS ONLY. In our 2023 sale, “KID BID” Lot 40 sold to a terrific young bidder and new owner from Georgia.

16 & younger to bid (Parents must consent) and must be present to bid on this foal.

  • 1 year PAID AQHA Youth Membership
  • Sale proceeds go to the KID BID Scholarship fund

The winning scholarship candidate receives a $1,500 scholarship created with the intention of keeping our youth engaged and interested in agriculture and/or education future generations while pursuing a post-secondary education at a school of their choice.

The BV&D Scholarship is for kids 17 and older that would be going to college for their freshman or sophomore year. The scholarship amount is $1,500.

The BV&D 2024 Scholarship application information will be available in April, 2024.

2023 Scholarship Winner

Our second KIDS BIDDER SCHOLARSHIP WINNER goes to Gunner Johnson. Gunner is an extremely hard-working individual and leader with a perspective on life and family not commonly found in someone his age.

In the fall, Gunner will be attending Mitchell Technical College in Mitchell, SD, majoring in Power Sports Technology. He aims to ultimately return to his community and open his own business focusing on providing service to local farmers and ranchers while remaining part of his family's farming operation.
